The Strumml Lamp is made using a combination of wood and opal polycarbonate, giving it a sleek and modern look. The wood is carefully turned to resemble a top, capturing the essence of childhood play. The opal polycarbonate diffuses the light, creating a soft and inviting glow.

These lamps can be positioned on the ground, placed on a table, or even suspended from the ceiling. They are available as single lamps or in sets of three, allowing for versatile placement and customization.

Fabio Biavaschi, the designer behind the Strumml Lamp, found inspiration for this design during a trip to Sicily. While playing with tops and interacting with children, the idea for these playful lamps was born. The final design was refined in Como, where Biavaschi perfected the look and feel of the lamps.

One of the main challenges in creating the Strumml Lamp was turning the wood to achieve the exact look of a top. This required precision and attention to detail to ensure that each lamp captured the essence of the childhood toy.

The Strumml Lamp has received recognition for its innovative design. In 2012, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, showcasing practicality, innovation, and integration of industry best practices.
